Bank & Tarleton (PR4)
Hesketh Bank & Tarleton villages are located in West Lancashire between Southport and Preston close to the River Douglas. The M6 motorway (Junction 27) is only 9 miles away. The population has increased rapidly in the last few years with the building of a large number of new houses, but the values of a traditional village community have continued. Marks Square is at the heart of Tarleton village with a variety of very good quality shops and places to eat. Marks Square also features a Post Office, Library and Health Centre. The centre of Hesketh Bank is on Hesketh Lane with a large number of good value shops, a Post Office and two Supermarkets. The surrounding area is dominated by Market Gardening and Farming.
